Thick-leaf Yerba Santa
Eriodictyon crassifolium

This coastal chaparral plant has great medicinal value. It was called "Great Medicine" by the local tribes and "Sainted Herb" by the Spanish and Mexicans. This species grows from Santa Barbara to the central coast of Baja California, Mexico.
